I picked up this 1937 sears waterwitch 2.5hp outboard motor up at a garage sale for $40. l was told it was a cleanout from an old timers shed. so lets see what a engine that is 83 years old is made of and can it be revived?

MUSTIE. Theow your nuts and bolts jar in the tank. Pour some gas or any chemical cleaner. And just shake it. It will come out looking brand new. The tank that is you might have to clean the little parts manually
The most athetetly pleasing outboard tank I've seen!
Hp?..
Runs surprisingly clean
that was such a cool old little machine…..love it how they made it with the nice aluminum tank, the mixture screw and gas lever combined with the ign advance….
👍👍👍
I had a 571-10 that ran really good it needed a lot of work tho ! Those ones are rare with the gas tank like that.
Sincere congratulations for your patience, perseverance and above all for reviving such an old engine! Greetings from Romania, it was a pleasure to follow the whole operation!
Love the high speed footage
When you were at full speed, I saw a mackinaw blow right past you and flip his fin!
Slick!!
