Great video…full of love and honor from a great bygone time. And I will guarantee you one thing….no outboard moror sold today will be running 65 years from now!!!
I can remember similar wooden boats on lake Simcoe on weekends and vacations in 1958 when we lived in Toronto as a kid. When we came back to the UK my mother's younger brother had bought prewar Chriscraft with a flathead marinised Ford V8, I teased him about the lighter more modern boats I had seen in Ontario , modem American type outboards and lightweight plywood boats were becoming easily available in UK by 1959
Wow – once you leaned out the carb on that Johnson, you could hear it really get into the power band. Nice air horns! That boat planes well at full throttle.

Beautiful boat!!
Sweet boat
Great boat, motor sounds strong! Love an old Evinrude, reminds me of my youth.
If you’d told me 62 years ago that I’d get excited about a YouTube boat ride, I’d have wet my diaper!! Very nostalgic!! I loved it!! Thanks!!
What a great little boat 🤠
