My grandfather built Chris Craft boats in Detroit in the 20s and 30s. I inherited his hand wood tools and use them for making harpsichords now. We had one of his last boats for a number of years in the garage after he died. Sold it to an artist from Toronto. I hope he took good care of it…Cheers, anyway!
Damn, those Johnson guys knew how to make almost bullet proof outboard motors. 55 years old and still starts and runs, water pump still circulating water also. Heavy as hell is the only problem. Newer stuff will never last as long as these did.
This is the guy you need to manage your finances. No way is he dumping 7 year old fuel and spending 6 bucks on new stuff. Even if he has to spend 2 hours getting it to run on the old crap.

Thirfty Yankee great videos but I cringe at some of the things you do Is that outboard xharging or did your charger blow the rectifier yet
