That phone number isnโ€™t an Extension. Itโ€™s 397-7500 To make a phone number easier to remember the first two or three parts would be letters. I remember a number from when I was a kid. It was CDR 7474 First part was Cedar!

eI would suggest that 'EX' represents 'exeter' or some other prefects Also, boiled limseed oil is really great for preserving that surface and a loy easier to apply.

Good to see the accelerator linkage. That is a big help. I was wondering if it went on the inside or the outside of the lever. It's neat to go back in time watching these. So cool that they painted over the logos protecting them all those years. Not knowing that someone would appreciate discovering them many years later.

I even get in there and sort whatever needs doing on my VW Touareg too .

I know this video is a couple of years old but just wanted to share with you in case you didn't know. Brookhaven Lumber Co. Is from my hometown of Memphis Tenn and believe it or not they are still in business. They have moved to the outskirts of Memphis and are now located in Germantown Tn. Love the videos I've hooked on them and have learned alot from them. Keep it up.

That's so amazing you even thought about trying to scrub that stuff to see if it would come off most guys would have just given up on it and painted it , Good job mustie1.

The highlighting on the lettering is called "drop shadow"

It was beautiful to see that old lettering with the drop shadows pop out! ๐Ÿ™‚

It seems to me that the brown primer was deliberately applied to obscure the signage. That's one of the things people do when disposing of vehicles that have come to the end of their useful business life.
