Carter AVS, the best carb ever made. Super easy to adjust and play with, and I had a Carter strip kit with mine with multiple jets and step up rods. Great fun.
Hey Mustie , I’m from New Zealand , or down under bottom of the Pacific Ocean, my late dad owned a Plymouth Belevedere, GTX coupe , 404 magnum motor , auto. very capable of excess 180 mile per hour , was iridescent green with a white vynal top, white upholstery with chrome diamond buttons in the back support, a fantastic car, big mag wheels, racing tyres, firmish suspension and as we are right hand drive here it was unusual being rhd. Trying to find it to buy back. Love your vids, cheers
More Mopar videos please …My 2 buddies have the same car …one is an all original 11k miles HEMI car …original owner still he ordered the car …other friend has a belvedere with a 440 in it
Old drums replacements. Carb is 73 afb style. It works. For future reference the primary plunger from the genetic afb is plastic with a rubber cup. The original leather plungers shrink from today's fuel/ or leak right out of box.
The springs, there is two, for carb return mount to inside where cable is. The outside is for kickdown lever a washer and clip. The kickdown linkage also had a spring on later models(most outside groove) From pump is a little u shape steel line. Small rubber hose clips to 5/16 fuel filter small hose then goes up behind alternator along intake to side of carb all steel. Lasy people put filter ontop of intake with rubber hoses but that is just a fire waiting to happen
LoL How many cool teenagers took cheap home speakers and tossed them in the back seat to get that "awesome" stereo sound like the pro's !!! (later they learned the diff between 4 and 8 ohm speakers)
Antie Backflow valve
It’s basically called a backflow valve
Have you tried Sea Foam, it worked with my 6cly. motorcycle.
