We are learning a lot watching your vids
We are also from NH ,
I've just bought a 1972 Bug in Silver. It's original untouched, left in garage unused and not started since 2003 I can't wait to get it collected! Any trips on starting?
Very very informative and well illustrated! 👏
Is there such thing as a ratchet brake line wrench?
I love your videos !!!!!!!!!!
The unmistakable sound of a vw engine
I comment a lot. Sorry. I have found that adjusting the stars all the way until the wheel locks (one at a time), not just drags, and then backing off the adjusters to the appropriate drag yields a much better brake adjustment. (On VW)
Thanks for sharing you really do help
Is it true that all the bugs have a 4/11 differential ratio

Hey! I’ve been enjoying your bug videos. But I have a question. I probably don’t know the first thing about cars but there’s this 1974 VW beetle for sale online and the seller said it won’t start, it has no ignition key, and there’s no battery. It’s fairly cheap ($2,000). Should I keep looking or would this be an easy find with an easy fix? Please let me know. Thank you!
Do you find and sell bugs?
Hey musty I'm pretty sure that you're aware but I'll tell you anyway you know you can bypass those fluorescent light ballast and straight wire the end sockets and put LEDs in and it works perfect and LEDs are less energy and last a hell of a lot longer in your camera will love them
The 1300 was crap in the 70s.. It will be no different now. I worked on them for years
Excellent videos! Have a question, do you know where I can get the plastic cap that the choke heating element sits in on a Solex VW 34 pict-3 carburetor?
You do get them VW to 'pure' like little kittens… Good one!
Retourqing: I would probaly lossen them, before touqing down. That they click, is not good enough. 2 af them might be overtourqed. Then you still can have a blowby.
