I picked up this nice 1988 toyota 4runner to add to my collection, lets see what condition its in then go for a spin up into the mountains,

Itchy. Purdy So this is that. 1988 Toyota 4Runner in nice clean condition I've been keeping an eye out for these for a while. I've kind of given up on 401ks for the most part I don't want to invest any more in them and so whatever. I was going to go put each year into one of those I'm gonna go put it into antique Vehicles If you want to call this an antique, uh, something that I think is going to increase the value, has that and put them in a session. You get to kind of enjoy your money instead of just letting it be a piece. uh, some numbers on a piece of paper, right? So uh again in 1988 Toyota 4Runner It's the first was called the first generation and the first generation had this body style. It's really nice about these is the back of it comes off that whole section back. there can come off like a cap like a uh the Broncos full-size Broncos full-size Blazers did it I think the scouts also and then the next Generation after that which I think was 89.90 they stopped doing that. This one's the V6 which is a little less desirable than the four cylinder, but it's a little bit better on power five speed which is very desirable. Uh, kind of loaded. It's got the sunroof, the AC power steering, power brakes, cruise control. It's had a bunch of extras put on. It is the original color. It has been repainted but it's the original color. It never had the stripe kit on it it came with like a stripe kit would go across the front fenders and across the rear quarter. and uh, you can get the top different colors. you can get the top black or whatever. This was always solid red. Someone's added the headlight covers the I didn't call that a bra on the front of the hood. uh, some nerf bars or steps on the side of it. Aftermarket wheels, funky wipers, dual wipers. Give her a walk around I haven't done anything with it other than register it and it was dragged out of the person's garage. You had to charge the battery up. kind of get it going. It was sitting for about a year or two and uh, say everybody right now kind of question your finances. So some of the toys are going up for sale and that's why I picked it up. It wasn't cheap, but that's okay. I'm I'm trying to concentrate on vehicles say between five and fifteen thousand if I can afford them and have space for him. maybe get rid of a couple of my Clunkers that are taking off parking spots and go for stuff like this at the market rear bumper you can see that it, uh, you know it still has its issues. There's no passenger seat in it for a reason and the uh, there's a light hanging down for the plate lights if you're hanging over the center of the plate. aftermarket covers for the tail lights I'd like to try to bring it back into his original as much as possible if I can find some factory wheels. I Will All right we go with the rock around. Let's go bring her back to the shop, put it up on the lift, take a peek. see we got underneath. They're kind of notorious for rust too, and you know, other than crawling underneath it on the ground, that's about as best I've seen, but it looked okay. Let's see what we actually really got. Let's go bring her up on the lift. let's go see how she does in the soft sand. two-wheel drive. You may want to put it in gear. There you go digging. That's the thing with soft sand. You got to keep your momentum up. so bury yourself. you stay moving. It's pretty good. Got a full tank that's about 80 bucks in this thing right right there alone. Speed Bump: I Got my uh, my camera holes in the back. That's what's rattling. foreign. Taking a quick peek and it's got a little bit of leakiness in the front. Looks like somebody's uh, been in that front differential. It's got orange sealer there. so I'm going to put a new fuel filter in it. New fuel lines that's in the line going across. Frame looks great. They normally blow out like right here. they're a box frames. What happens is we see those holes. Well, crap gets inside those and my snacks get in there and everything. It just rots the bottom of the lower section of the frames all out. This one looks really good. They have drain holes but they're so tiny that's it. They should have it like like that. you know. New muffler. somebody put lift blocks on it. That's these right here. They have like a squat to them a little bit because of the extra weight of the cap. that cap is stupid heavy. and then you know the seats in the interior compared to a regular pickup. So yeah, exceeding new. new bolts in there rear diff looks pretty dry. It looks pretty good underneath actually. Now we look back here a little bit. Okay, just like a little surface crust here in there. but again on these. We had the 87 we had was oh 20 years ago and it was 10 times more Rusty than this one. so this one's definitely held up pretty good. Probably got them bolted on there. That looks pretty good too. Yeah, the Rockers look nice. That's the thing in our area. you just try to find something that's fairly rust free. You know somebody made up some lines or has a new fuel line going on there that's a little janky. The hose clamp on the exhaust and it's not like leaks at all though a little bit of wetness. This thing's got some decent amount of miles on it too though. The engine was rebuilt I Want to say 17 000 miles ago I asked him was there a problem with it. he said no, He said it just had high miles on it and I wanted to get rebuilt I mean that's a shield I see a little bit of a blowout there. As for hoses, it's a heat shield nice I'm happy with it. It's gonna drop her back down on the ground. Let's go take a walk around back. So when I bought it you got a sound system in there that was again 20 years old, 21 years old and it had 10 disc CD changer and a amp which was right back there. well the problem he wanted that I mean he was out of it I'm like what do you want for it just leave it in there I'll leave it complete and he just wanted it. so we had to go take the trim off all that side where the wiring was run, take out the passenger seat and access to go get the wiring that was run to that 10 disc CD changer. It has like a um like a five pin or six pin harness that talks to the stereo and went down through there and up and around. So I just finally we got all the stuff out of it on call the stuff out of it. but we had to go do it through in here and we had to go do it through in here because the back window wouldn't go down. If you can't get the back window to go down, you can't get the uh back gate to open so we crawl through here. Uh, flip that seat up, ran all the wiring you know, got it out of the side panel and everything and uh I get it home. I'm looking at it and I'm trying to figure out what's going on with the power window. I just wanted to get that part of it kind of solved. So I can access the back of it and I'm changing them, chasing fuses and relays and I come to the back of it I put the key in it I might push on it. Hey, turn the key, no window goes down. It just wasn't quite latched all the way to let it know that the gate was shut to run the window. That's all it was. So I got the window down. We were able to get the gate open. Now you got to kind of open it from the inside to unlock them and flip them down so that'll make it much easier to reinstall something over there. And it actually comes in new parts too. It came with uh, rotors and drums. I think I think that's what's in the box right there and this was a cover that covered this whole assembly right there. I Guess he lived in a bad part of town. If you want to go lock it up, it's got a big alarm system in it too. So I think we got rotors or drums in there? What are these? Nike wheel cylinders and wheel cylinders for the rear. and I would guess what's in that box up there? It's going to be like brake shoes and stuff. Let me get you set up in the stand. let's see what we got in there and open. Grab a blade. Yeah so new rotors. didn't even look bad. see. we got pads, rotors, drums, anything else. That's it. That's good. I know if we need them. Drove down the road, it didn't chat or anything. Let's go see we got. How are we looking the engine bay. It's like a new battery. Really clean and looks nice underneath here. I Don't see anything I Don't see any rust on the wheel wells I Don't see corrosion on anything. We'll get a little bit of oil out of the back. whether that's a valve cover, gaskets possibly the little damp down there foreign gasket, huh? That looks like it sucks to get to take the intake manifold off. That's probably why it's still leaking. Yeah, might be able to get away with just trying to tighten a couple of bolts in the back if that's even where it's leaking from. Yeah, the paint looks decent. I Give it up. give it a seven for I think he said again like he kind of went through when he first got it which I think was around 2000.. So that's a 22 year old paint job. It's got an old phone and as far as I understand it works. If you were to hook it up, it lights up. Yeah, not sure what that is. Maybe that's for the phone. Yeah, that's probably the receiver for it. and I don't know what's that amp? Looks like a small one. Okay, it's got some. What are the speakers in it? Good decent speakers all right. Well I'm gonna go take a few minutes and start assembling some of this interior. Maybe we'll open your back. we'll jump on and we're throwing the amp in or something. Kind of go from there. It's got a roll bar in the back. Factory Headliner looks really nice. It's got sunroof. You gotta pop this this. you got to pop out of there. It's not like it's a um, it retracts and you just got to remove it. remember how you do it and then you could store this somewhere else and you got a sunroof. 80s? You know. All right. let me go. Uh whittles on this interior, get it put away and uh, sorted and all that kind of happy stuff. I Don't think we have to run any wires back there I think we have everything we need. Maybe we'll jump on that first. I Mean we'll screw with this. make sure the stereo would work correctly. I'm going to go in my stash see what I got for amps and that kind of thing and we'll hook that up because we have to run some more wires. Yeah, we got a plan. let's go with it. So over in this mess is some of the stuff I've gone hunting because I knew I needed one so I went to two yard sales. Well with the many yard sales but two of them. one I grabbed this one, don't know if it works and then I grabbed that one. hopefully one of those worked. this one came with one of the ants. we use that for another car I think the one in here works pretty good and then I got a set of six by nines I don't know what we do and don't have these might be good to keep in these boxes and I grabbed some other speakers. we got those and these were in my attic. A couple of Kenwoods real common that um you find that yard sales people get these they used to not So Much Anymore you would get like stereo equipment and whatnot for Christmas and then you never install it and then make a sold at a yard sale 20 years later. So we got stuff to work with anyway. well look with the electronic equipment I wouldn't say I got probably about a 40 success rate. Let's go see if it get turned and to off. Let me have to off. I Think it was kind of set up as a subwoofer before not just running regular speakers which this is doing battery power. Big ground signal out to the speakers servo speaker output which is just one so that's going to be just for our sub. Then right doesn't have two outputs so those are inputs that would be input. Yeah, so this is just for to run a big amp. Let's go look at the other one. Let's see what this one has to offer. Hot ground I Guess that's going to be signal in. looks like two channels out and line in there I Don't know if we need that for anything huh? Could turn boost off filter. We'll find out. I Guess we'll play that once we have. Monty They hear what the sound is supposed to have to adjust the gates and stuff too. All right, let's go wire that one in. let's see if this does anything. So apparently the amp runs the front speaker so the wires go back to the front. These come from the radio and the speaker wires run through the front speakers. and I have the radio set to front and we got nothing like I said about my success rate with amps I don't know there's anything else you got to go turn out like a gain or anything's going to do anything for us. Let me get you located the front speakers, kicking in a second game. all the way off right? Yeah I don't think he's doing anything I don't think it's the radio because it was working the other setup. Yeah, it's not the toilet huh? where I want to make sure I got it on all right. So I'm trying the subwoofer one and we're gonna guess I have one speaker hooked up to the center channel which is a negative and positive and then whatever. server one and Servo two I have no idea but that I made that the outer Channel it might let the Smoke Out we'll see it's got a park plug in the RC jacks. turn it on I can give you the bird's eye view. Okay, smoke comes out when we turn it on. we take out one side. yeah it just works the one speaker. it's not doing both so that's all it is. It's a subwoofer I think we're gonna do for now. we're just gonna go take clothes together out of one. Let's go get watch. that's the one that goes out. it is that middle Channel not working. the stat is four speakers. let's go see if um, foreign, just be kind of blown. Yeah, we're not getting anything. Let's just try hooking with one speaker at this point out here see if this does anything. Nothing. Nothing that works for the left speakers working I tried doing I'll hold my camera Yeah so both front speakers will work on that Center channel. So I'm going to just hook both of them up to that. For now, we'll keep. We'll screw it up. Screw it up I Already screwed it up. We'll screw it up to the wall. button this up, get the rest of it together. I Know noise is going back to both front speakers. Weird that that's on the front, not the rear. but I didn't put it together. Yep, that's all that does. one channel. I think I'm tied together and both speakers are working in front I Turned the fader all the way to the front so you're not here in the rear anymore and thanks to YouTube I can only play static. it's some Hazy Days Music cassette that I can put in there and play all right. let's um, start looking at uh speakers. I Had to go change the two front speakers I'll show you why I Think there's an issue with those? Yeah, weird. Looks like they tried fixing them, but I threw a set of speakers in there so we got now. I Got a set of pioneers in there, but again, it's running through an amp that's meant for Bass and that's totally the opposite of bass. I Think those little those little amps. there's one up in there like I showed you on the other side I think just runs these guys at the front was so crappy you decided to look at the rear. Yeah, they might have an issue too, huh? Good thing I grab speakers like I said. All right I'm gonna go change them out and uh, worst case I could always just leave the front off even if Center's broke too. Huh? Yeah, it's broke now. Really broke I ain't gonna change them out? Yeah, my luck. So those look like some nice 6x9 speakers that would go in there. Just awesome, right? 60 watt I Take them out of the bag and out of the boxes. kind of don't look like the picture, do they? Those magnets look kind of small for 160? Watts too. Delco Yeah Chevy isn't it says these are the takeoffs of the speakers that would have been in there. Somebody swapped the speakers and just put the old stuff back in the box and sold it at a yard sale probably for 10 bucks. I don't remember where these came from. Well I think I'm gonna go throw them in there anyway and uh I'll keep an eye on yard sales again. we have to. I'll have to revisit the sound system but hey I want to get it buttoned up and getting the the interior back in it? Snooker did I tell you they got me nothing but the finest of installations. we got regular regular Phillips Phillips We're kind of like I think they tried making this one. both the prices keep showing up. Hope they didn't build the engine this way they did solder the leads on though and then they went to this. I wouldn't do, just not solder but that was not no good. I end up going with the Kenwoods. get them in there I Guess I could take the sticker off too. I'll just let that amp sit there till I find another one and they'll bolt it up in the permanent location. but all four speakers are working now. kind of sort of. The fronts are in mono because they're tied together well. that's a little better. A lot of pieces figured out all right. You can see back there. well then that amp, it's all buttoned up, all the speakers and covers back on and that kind of thing. Jam's pretty good of course I can't show you and I was wandering around with a piece of plastic for about 20 minutes trying to figure out where it went and finally I put the passenger seat in and it was this piece under here. I Was looking for another one somewhere that kind of matched it. The driver's side doesn't have it, it's just a passenger side because the passenger side has a pedal in the back. The passenger would hit the seat, flips forward and slides forward and then they have their own door handle to get out so you're not trap back there if nobody's in the passenger seat. But we got it all right. let's go pick off a couple other little. Smalls yeah I Remember these were a thing in not now I'm out of there and hopefully all the hardware is there. We just put a record blade in it, not smash the windshield and let's see if we can make it redeem itself. Give me a click I'm not clicking. We'll call that for the win. All right. I can read it like that I flipped it over. now it's in I Think it thanked me. All right. let's go see what we can do about those Smokey eyeballs. try turning on at night. forget it I would think they're just gonna be velcroed on I like to get rid of that velcro. Let's go pop them both off. We'll see what they look like. Let's go pop one off. Okay, let's see what we like better and they look better without. we'll just leave one on one on one off. Let's get the rid of that other one. and I wonder if we can use to get the. it's probably been on there for a long time. Yeah, soak it because I think these are just like plastic with um, you know Chrome coating on them. Now we get the other one out of there and try figuring out how to get the 37 pieces per side off of it. Okay, a pair of pliers on here. It's not too bad. I think I might have some goof off or something where the 37 pieces of bling, what was it called flare? you just want to wear the minimum. It's okay guys trying to figure out what movie that's from. around to the front office space with Jim for Amazon it's a good movie I'm gonna watch a funny movie I think it was filmed probably around the same time this car was made. As long as we can get them off, we can, uh, get something to get that glue off of there. Maybe we can soak it I want to have those? That one's a nasty one. I want to have those. uh, the ones where the tail lights are a little bit like that. soak them or WD-40 would do it too. Let that soak and I'll pick off away at the other one. Those are easy. we'll rip the gorilla. what do you think? Foreign I thought I had goof off or Goo Gone that's all I got all right there. but that's WD-40 Let's go try that first. So I just let that soak on the glue while we are, uh, screwing around with the other ones. Another thing that was in the truck too was um, ends bumper ends. Doesn't seem like it needs it though if it looks like the fine. but the new ones were in the truck and on the ass end of it we got kind of something. I guess I don't know. yeah those are more like a two-sided tape or instead of a Velcro well it's not broke anywhere. just got some glue you got to get off. Let's go pop the other one off and we'll soak that too. I Want that to come off the same way? Yeah, it looks pretty good, huh? It'll come off. stay. Those didn't bother me as bad as the other ones, but I'm kind of wonder what the legality of you're supposed to have so much brake light, you know, surface. Honestly, if you get rear-ended and you're trying to say hey, I was rear ending to say hey, you didn't have good enough brake lights, it was pieces of flair. That's what was in the movie. Let's try a rag first. see if that'll just kind of roll off because that plastic from is just that. That's the Chrome I Think that'll work I think we just muscle a little bit. Let's go try white. Scotch Brite I think it's the softest, the least greedy that's got a little bit of tooth. It's kind of like a kitchen sponge. Foreign, Looks like we're going with this. I'd say that looks better WD worked for the front and I went back to the rag because it was scratching it just the hair and I ended up using Goof Off on the glue on the back side. clean them up kind of Polish the lenses up a little too again. I'm trying to bring it back to more of a stock look I'm still going to look for the stock rims like I was talking about and somewhere it came with the lights for the back. the one that's flopping right now I have it I Gotta go find it There it is. Founder. What if we just kind of Steal me the lights out of it instead of trying to I would think we'd have to take the whole back of the tailgate apart to get to these screws. We might be able to just unscrew the the bracket part of it and change the bulb out. That's bad instead of trying to do the whole assembly. Plus, we'd have to change the key anyway too. Let's go see what happens. I Ended up cracking her open. The problem is we got to get to those two bolts that are behind back glass there and there. I Got to try to figure out how to get the window to go up. There's something telling it that it's open I don't know where the is it the latch? What? if we could try latching the latch, we'll think it's shut all the way. I Don't see it like a button anywhere on the on the back of it I Tried doing that. Let's go shove a screwdriver in these and see. like right now the key's in it I should be able to roll it up and down from the key, but nothing happens. Yeah, I click them in. it's gonna support it. Watch it not go up high enough. Let's see if that's enough room to get them. Kind of kind of work from the side now. Oh yeah, yeah, we can see. I'm good. Hey, we got him out. Yeah, it's pretty nasty huh? and it looks like we just have to. So we gotta change the key. This is the part that plugs in. They cut it out of the car that was in, but we disconnect it from here. Two screws to change the lockout and this is the one we just have to swap over and plug and put it all back together again and definitely say that's a little bit better shape, huh? Maybe it was a New England car down south up north. so this is the key with the car and the back window go up and down. I Was trying to change the locks and they're kind of fighting me so let me go throw the key in the other one and now it's not gonna do it. Yeah, it actually turns that lock. How good of a security is that? if you can take a key from another? Toyota put it in the lock and put the back window down. There it goes. Now it's almost dead. I'm going to keep picking that a little bit. I Got the screws out of it. It just it's like latched in onto it and you know this part has to stay because it's on the other side of the bezel. I pull the boot back to see if I can uh, find the there was like one more thing going down the center of it, but there's not I tried picking out like some clips if it's holding it I don't know I'll try breaking I'll try picking the old one first. yeah I picked away a little bit more. All you had to do was stab into that little hole right there and the whole tumbler came out of it from the front. So the uh, the better looking one I'll leave right in its place I'll just pop the switch part of it out and I'll put this one in. as long as it works with the find, the hole won't go up. Oh I better not go too far. um I didn't change the switch over. Oh that sucks huh? I'm gonna pop it back out of there. oh it's gonna be close. Oh yeah, the glass is right on the bolts. Murphy's Law uh no I can't change it I gotta pull it back out and do it. Yes, but we'll go from the front. No, hmm it doesn't always figure. Hey I was able to get it with the Uh I turned the ignition on and the switch in the front worked. So I gotta go switch it over and still change that part out. Click it. I'm not doing it should I Should have just plugged it in for a screwed everything together see if it would work all right. Changed out that switch as soon as you get. Oh there we go. Right it down. the class explodes out of it. That one's kind of goofy. probably get rid of that one, but I kind of like that one. Well, I think that's where I'm going to leave it for now. I'm Gonna Leave the I'm calling it a bra if it's not. I'll hear about it in the comments, that's for sure. There's no damage underneath that. that is just to protect the Hood from uh, paint chips in front of it. It's decent underneath it I had pulled it back. there's no, um, no issues underneath there and stay with the seat covers. You would think that you put seat covers on because the seats are trashed. They're actually really nice underneath and I think he said he put them on there just to try to protect them. So I'll leave them on there for now too until they get you know, ratty or whatever. I'll see about taking them out. I'm Gonna Leave the phone in there I think it's kind of goofy foreign. What do you say? Back it out of here and we go for a nice ride. Traditions Attention please. This color is backing up. Attention please. this color is backing up. Hey guys, so we are I don't know about 80 miles in. so far we're on our way to Lake Winnipesaukee and above that is Kessel in the clouds. Is that right? Yeah, my partner in crime is with me. Everything seems to be doing good. The only thing it does not work. it seems like the oil pressure gauge I checked it. It's got oil in it and it hasn't blown up yet. So I guess we're good. And for those I mean miles around this truck. It's 219 000 miles. so camera adjust. We are uh, kind of like what we call like Leaf peeping season up here mid-october and uh, it's a little bit kind of past it, but we're gonna go on a cruise and just kind of enjoy our day and make our way to class. Castle on the clouds I've never been there before so we've all kind of joined together. If I see anything kind of neat I'll show you some areas. it depends on the altitude I think as far as how the trees look when we get up into the hills we'll be able to see the uh like Overlook the lakes and the hills but we have a much better view. We're on some back road GPS has taken us thank you Foreign we are I Like that funky. You pay something here to go up I think so right now I Hope they don't have an event going on. A good man. So it looks like this is like a two mile. Loop It said it's a river on the right hand side of us there. Sorry about the shaky cam, but you got some rain. Uh, two days ago. so the rivers are kind of finally flowing a little bit foreign. Somebody else is in front of you doing the speed. That's right between first and second. We'll let them go a little bit. Is there a restaurant? laptop? I think so cabin or something right in front of us right there. that's a rock. It looked like a building. Don't go off the edge. it's a big frog s A bunch of hiking trails. that's what all these people are doing. One right there. it's got a waterfall. I Guess we know why they call it castle in the clouds. If you guys can tell, we're going higher and higher and higher. Good thing it's one way you guys want to take a sky view. that'll get your motion sickness, huh? Foreign. A lot of green right here. Some of the forerunners came with an altimeter that would come on the dash right there. It's been a good time to have that. Got a view on our left up over the mountains. We'll pull over here for a second. All right. go out there and check it out. Want to go look in there? Okay Puppy Dog? Thank you of course. I Have to turn the camera on I Drove right by the castle in the cloud so we're gonna go walk back over. Parking spots are a little on there tight side. We'll find one. We'll hang out with the tourist buses over here, maybe not. I have to put it in four low and park on the side of the Hill See ya I Better look at the mountains minus all the cars inside Guys servatory or something help me Crystal Geyser Alkaline Spring Water Okay, kind of hyped me here for spring water huh? At the top of a hill we think it would be at the base where we lovely view, cement building don't change? Yeah I didn't realize Definitely attention you will be on your own is a self-guided tour. There will be guides around. Cute! Thank you Foreign Foreign. thank you Foreign foreign thank you. Oh here we go. What do you guys want I'd say we go for that one. Pretty bad. that ought to make you hungry, huh? Weird. It's nice it's 280. I'm going out of gas a little bit. That's a little annoying though. not the car, the mirror rattling back and forth. but sometimes it's better to take the back roads if the sign says minimum speed 45 Does that mean every one of us should get a ticket right now? I Think my wife's afraid to talk on camera they can't read. You guys get have fun all the way to the tolls which is seven more exits. We're going this way. Well guys again. About the end of the video. Uh, we've had a good time with it. It worked out really good. No real surprises I Get no oil pressure light is or partial light the oil pressure gauge doesn't show I Don't see it to be an issue. We put about 180 miles on it I Think it would have blown up by then. Uh, seems like a really decent truck for a 37 year old machine. They're really nice quality. Uh Vehicles they may made really nice stuff back then and I'm glad to kind of add this one to our uh, our collection. our retirement money collection. Our 401K Shell license plate says that, but other than that, yeah, we need an amp for the stereo. uh. tires can get a balanced. they got like between like 55s and up. you got a little bit of a shake coming off of it so that wouldn't hurt. Probably do a rotation on them too. all the fluid changes, all the normal stuff that needs to be done, but uh, it's been taking really good care of for a vehicle. It's got two, uh, 220 000 miles on it. It's an awesome rig so uh, maybe bring it back when we do some other things. Maybe next spring again. I Want to get a a soft top or be me top core and maybe do a little bit of a lift maybe two inches I Don't want to go crazy with it I Want to keep it functional the way it is. It drives awesome Much better than the four cylinder. as far as power you don't have to. you hit a hill on the highway, you don't have to go from fifth to Fourth to third. you just leave the thing in fifth gear and you know, as long as you're over, say 60 miles an hour, it'll just pull right up over the hill. So well guys again, thank you very much for hanging out and uh, we'll get into something else pretty soon. Till then I'll see you later.

I have a Bronco, so when he mentioned the window not rolling down I immediately thought, "Go give the tailgate a shove." I've had that happen more than once.

You didn't get your hands dirty this time… No tow ball on it, but has the hole for one, I wonder how you would go pulling the car trailer.

So glad you got rid of all the tacky aftermarket bits! I had one of these when I was a kid in NZ and they are such a cool body. Love the electric rear window

My daughter has the same year and model but with an automatic transmission. It has a few wiring issues and the power steering rack needs to be rebuilt. It leaks badly. She only had 181k miles. LOL
