Hey mustie, long time fan. I grew up outside of athens, home of King Midget. My mom was friends with the former owners daughter. Me and her are looking for a midget to restore and take to shows back in the athens area. If you’d have an interest in selling, let me know!
It’s the top of the windshield buddy ?
its survived this long make it the best you can 👍👍
This is another example of the 1950s methamphetamine epidemic………
did they pay YOU to take it 400.00????? otherwise your idea of a bargain in warped lol OMG love all your videos!!!!
Humm… $400… humm…
$400?! It amazes me. He should have paid someone to haul it away! Jennings Motor Sport fixes one up that's in much better condition and with a different engine. (Kohler)?. Check it out. (50 mph, it is claimed… Down a steep hill with a tailwind maybe)… I actually really like these little things. A good little summer fun car.
I wish they made cars like this again they are so cute and simple!
I would have paid $40
Bottom of the windshield
Yesteryears runabout is yours in pieces of course , good luck.
Dear Sir, As a kid growing up in the early 1960's I saw the Midget King ad's in some of the Hot Rod or Popular Mechanics magazines. I was always interested in them, being a farm kid with no money it was always "what if"?? Then Vietnam was hot and I was called shortly after graduation. Now at 75, spending 17 years in foreign countries around the world I still have the fascination. Because of my military career with injuries, I can no longer drive. I still would love to see this. Funny, my wife is from the Philippines and not much over 5 foot, could be a perfect fit. Thanks. Love to see it completed.
Maybe it was going to get a VW transaxle and human size rear tires. Something silly like that.
This is a really good score! Never have seen anything like it and I'm 74 I seen this video on reverse LOL but you did a good job on this build to be continued hopefully soon
Put together like a puzzle..
Holy crap its been 6 months since he bought this is he planning anything with it?
