I bought this off shore bead roller for $150 from ebay. it is sold under lots of different names but all appear to be the same one. lets take it out of the box and see how it does. then in part 2 we will make it power and build a stand.

I think the easy way for this or any of the manual ones is to put on a round wheel or reinforcing bar so you can pull down.

That crank handle needs to be replaced with a wheel of the same diameter and a permanent
t handle welded to the adjuster. The frame needs to be beefed up so it doesn't flex. Flexing makes it go off track. Either use less force or make the frame much stiffer. I like my Harbor Freight bead roller bud sometimes they save too much money trying to keep it competitive. Sometime soon I will motorize it and then I will love my HF bead roller.

put a round wheel on it instead of the crank… gives you better control…old steering wheel will work
