Well at least we know how to free stuck brakes, without being gentle on them I wonder if the same technique would work on disk brakes ๐ ๐คฃ ๐ lol one question though, what the heck are these guys going to do with this car?? , just about every part is rusty or corroded, it truly is a sorry sight. Also what did the guy say they gave him $350 to take it away?? ๐ค
Never buy European Vehicles. The original owners canโt afford to maintain them because it cost too much. The rotor or Distributor cap is not a $2 part more like $50 or more for European vehicles.
I own a 1977 Audi C2 2.0 100 Same basic motor but carburettor. My car sat 30 plus years . I did a compression test from flywheel Psi 90, 95, 90 and 100. I soaked the bores prior for turning then started. After run ( on my channel ) 130 psi on all cylinders.
Even for my car parts are so hard to find.
The 924 Audi 2.0 is a Mercedes design also fitted to AMC Gremlins. I bet the smog equivalent 2.0 was strangled.
I cringed at the lack of oil in bores. More damage in those few mins to rings.
Hi Guys, this was a backup video l filmed a few months ago, yes l wished we got it to run but thats just the way things go. dealing with some family stuff so ive been out of my garage for 2 weeks, hope to be back on my normal projects next sunday.

The shims are wedges adjusted with an Allen key grubscrew.

I regret not getting a 944 when I had the chance. The 944 and the 356 used to be affordable and available to guys on a budget, but things have changed.
Mustie said a dirty word ๐คฌit offended my virgin ears๐ lol enjoyed the video thx!!
350$ for a submarine with a van engine, worth more broken for spares.
"That's a tight squeeze." That's what he said.
