I started restoring this vw truck several years ago but then got side tracked, its been out in a tent garage for a few years lets see how it held up, then we take a trip to my parents and take out the 1988 vw westfalia camper. this was restored by me 6 years ago, sprinkle in some small engine finds along the way, thanks for watching,

Nice one Darren! Clever trick using the ratchet strap to hold the glued brake shoe in place! Is there no glue that you can use to glue the shoe on that will withstand road use? Oh well at least you won't crash into the walls of your workshop so much!
Mate I just love the curves & panels of this veedub! I'm sure it will look beautiful when you're finished with it, truck paint or not.
