We were given this 1987 john deere 318 after it failed in the yard of a subscriber named Dan for us to make videos of its issues, this is the last in a playlist of bringing it back to life after we found bent valves in the onan engine. lets see how it makes out.
They make a new product called Mud Slinger, it's in a spray can, which works great for the areas that you don't want things to stick to, wheel wells plaw ect.๐ FYI, you might check it out.
i have the same tear tractor 1987 318 john deere i was adding some hydrualic oil fluid it started coming out on top of the vent on the tranimission on the top would that mean its over filled
Your best project so well done and very informative
After you connect wires you can seal them with hot glue.
Awesome work
,winter?? No problem ๐
Why does my 318 only have one pedal?
I mean, if you aren't going to play with your toys after you fix them, then what's the point, right?
That blade came off a 317. The front frame changed. To solve the hitting problem, cut a piece of 1 1/4" pipe 1 1/2" long. Slip it over the cylinder rod to limit raising. The limitation doesn't matter. The blade lifts high enough.
OMG I loved the ending!!!! LOL
Great job keep up the good work love your videos thank you
You ended up with one sweet little tractor there. Not sure what you paid in parts, but it's certainly worth more than you spent.
