all the replacement parts came in for my 1972 honda ct70, so lets fix the different systems one by one, carb, handlebars, wiring, and throttle.

After a few days of channeling my inner Mustie1, it's running great and reaches 40 MPH with relative ease. Looking forward to bringing it with me to Bugorama and camping in my '69 Westy! 🙂
I had an orange one when I was 16. Man I wish I still had it. I had so much fun on that bike. Went over the handlebars once, that hurt !

Love this. My dad traded a shotgun he won at a trap shoot in '71 for a gold trail 70 brand new. Ben's Honda in MO. As kids We ran it until it wouldn't run due to lack of compression. Twice. That little bike could climb like hell in 1st gear. We would repair it ourselves and learned or we didn't ride. So much fun was had on that bike. Pro tip: when you wreck on the handlebars on one side, you will eventually wreck and the other side will match. Look around and make sure mom didn't see and take off again.
