I love your videos. I was wondering why you don't spray all the bolts down with penitrating oil before you tare into something or even the engine bits. I discovered that early on and sometimes I think that is the only thing I am doing right when I am messing with an old engine.
i like that you keep talking as you work and explain thing in detail as you go it is very interesting so many other ones do not do that and that is the part that i like a little detail make it so interesting
Hey Muskie 1. I have an old engine you can work on. An old V-8 Chevy 350 see thru plastic model engine. No spark now. Can you fix that? ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐๐ just kidding.
the way this carb works, it needs one needle in the ballpark, before you can get the fuel enrichment right on the bottom. it also wants that fuel level adjustment on that float correct before any adjustment. otherwise, you're going to pull your hair out. get the smaller screw to around a turn and a half, then leave it alone in just your bottom enrichment screw, when the motor sounds just a little rough, go back and adjust the top one only slightly. throttle it a few times and repeat this process and you'll get it.
That fuel tank is from a 60's Jacobsen reel mower.
it still hear why it gums up so many machines but thet dont care
