Points all set at a matchbook cover or a folded piece of brown paper bag.
I've watched the whole saga of this multiple times because you don't see these at all. And what it seems to me is nobody knows what fuel it uses because I highly doubt a model airplane that's 40/50 K $ runs pump gas, probably white gas..
This is the second time I’ve watched this now because as a kid I remember working on 3 of these with my dad . He got them because the utility company he worked for was throwing them out because they would not start. The lineman would take them on the bucket trucks and found them useless. My dad gave all 3 of them away after we cleaned, poked, prodded, and begged the things to run. They never did. Not on a regular basis.

I have that same motor on a vintage R/C Boat. Advertised as 1 hsp.I ended up putting a regular R/C slide carb on it and run model nitro fuel. It runs awesome to this day!

Where did they find such a drill ?
You should have painted it hot pink and sent it back to him. He would have have loved that.
Before you repaired the starting handle and cord I could have sworn I saw the condenser arcing while trying to start it……….Never mind I just saw the next video where you point out what I saw.
So porfekt
I’m surprised your shoulder isn’t shot out from all the pulling you do. Through mine out once when the rope went freely on me. 6 months before I tried to pull again !!
Pretty horse.
I see the grounding spark at the condenser.
Very cool and informative as always.
Hand tool rescue is cool. Btw the capacitor was arching on the cooling fins to the motors head.
