This very much reminds me of what we called a "milk float" in UK in the '60s and '70s. In those days most homes had milk delivered, either in 3 wheel electric vehicles or more conventional pickup trucks. The advantage of the electric ones were they made less noise as deliveries typically started about 5 am.
My dad did something similar to a 1929 Model 'AA' Flatbed truck. We hauled it out from an apple orchard in pieces. Between his age and my availability to help, it took him years to get it done. Sadly, it's been sitting in his garage since 2008 when he passed. One of these days I'm going to have time to haul it out of there and get it running again… Retirement goals!
I think you do great work. Not boring at anytime to me. I have cancer and I'm bedridden a lot so I watch a lot of you tube. Yours is definitely on top. Build for yourself. I'm glad you take us along. Have a great day. Be safe.
Don't see why you don't put in a skeleton tube floor and then just screw down a sheet of pressure treated 3/4 in. plywood. It will last as long as sheet metal in your climate.
i really like where this is going.i would like it more if you painted those ugly rims and the rest of it too. just my opinion. the rusty rustic look works for you so go with it.

You use a pencil to write parking tickets when it's raining. Ink will run and smear.

Don't knock the waffling as it is like you were talking to a friend. That is great as we feel we are really getting to know you.

Try some early Datsun pickup tailgate latches.
This particular build didnโt work for me. Too much unnecessary work went into this
Hey Mustie 1 you might should gusset the (both inside and out)upper four corners of your canopy, for a little ridgidity and added strength
You exercise on that it's fitting
Looks good.
I see somewhere along the line you built a seat??
I think I would have beefed up the corner posts and used painted wooden dowels as bars to keep the weight down.
Was the key the old ignition ๐?

Enjoyed your vidio as usual!
