I have the same generator. Not alot of info out there on that one. Any chance you can measure the pull cord? Mines missing one. So i used 4 foot of rope. Doesnt seem to habe long enough pull. Id appreciatte a measurement.
Engine is made by Chrysler marine division, 16ci. As for the power failure it's most likely the voltage regulator is fried. Once the engine is started and off choke you're supposed to immediately bring it up to 3600rpm. If the engine idles too long it cooks the regulator.
Pretty sure its a chrysler. I have a half dozen of different sizes sitting on my property. Really heavy duty and oversized for what they are.
