Worked at McDonald's , bought a used 1960 18hoss evinrude. Hitched to a 12 ft aluminum boat. Water skied all summer 1965… We were just 140lb 15 year old back then… Ran like a top all summer long. trying to feel Andreas big tits… Great memories…

Did the fuel to oil ratio go up because of better engines? or because of better oil? If better oil, then one should be able to run older engines with modern fuel to oil ratios when using modern oil.
old video but i noticed no water coming out cooling the exhaust duno if i missed it. owned allot of outboards that's first one I've seen that doesn't do it if its not a fault
Mid 60's Camp Foley, which is still around, ran all their ski boats on those 40hp Envirudes pulling 8, 9, 10 year old kids out of the water and teaching them how to ski.
Such a cool outboard. Love the design.
Those old outboards run straight 30wt motor oil 1qt to 6 gal of gas

Funny that it started on the first pull. When my father and I dug out his 63 10 hp that had been sitting 15+ years in his basement it too started on the first pull. Couldn't believe it
