Interesting my puch air box had a weird foam rubber type of media in it, but my memory may be fuzzy. That was 40 years ago. LOL. What I do wish I had done was put a bigger drive gear. Mine had enough umpf to get to 35, but it ran out of fuel delivery at around 32 mph.

Mustie ,the 666 was a your warning of the curse on the Puch. it was a cursed bike.(joke) time for beer walk away read or look stuff up and the look at you option, (give yourself 3.) I striped my Honda C=70 and replaced the gasket and cleaned up the piston. It did take 3 days ( not the planned 4 hours). Stuff happens. Good job I like you videos.

People don’t understand that you got to make a buck. My dad always says if it works don’t try to fix it. And Perry leave the hood down on the car always check the oil or wind stops

My buddies step dad got one a long time ago. The tank was trashed so what he did was take a metal snow blower gas tank and mount it to the rear rack. It worked like a charm.

An important thing I managed to learn over the last 70 years. When lubricating a speedometer and cable use powdered graphite. Same with throttle cable. I see guys use spray lube but when dust and dirt seep in there it turns into a great abrasive.

Just watching this in late 2019…..black plastic ties (or whatever color you need) cut into different lengths can be used as plastic "welding" rod for plastic repair.

Hey mustie1, you got to look up on Amazon and find the glue sticks that are black that they use for pulling dents in the paintless dent removal. I'm telling you man I see use that soldering iron and I just cringe. Cuz it creates a weak point right there this stuff his amazing it'll feel just like a weld. Greatest stuff sense Al Gore invented the 10mm wrench.
