Interesting to see a Muskrat with that overhead console. I know that they existed and I was around a whole lotta Mustangs & Cougars (I had a '67 Mustang fastback very similar to McQueen's Mustang in "Bullitt") from that time period, but I never actually saw a Mustang or Cougar equipped with that console. And those Ford Motorsport valve covers are pricey!
Love the Mustang mustie1. And I'm not a Ford guy. My mother told me if she caught me saying the f word she put a bar of soap in my mouth so I've drove nothing but GMCs and 1 Pontiac.
How long you had it? I live a couple miles from Valley Mufflers in La Mesa above El Cajon. They've done several jobs for me in the past. Hope you got what you wanted for it. Did you have to travel to buy it?
Good move Mustie. (Is that why you are called "Mustie – Mustang?) I would buy a Ve-Hicle off you in a heartbeat. Straight, rust-free and mechanically sound – you could put your house on it.
Back in the day the JC Whitney catalog had everything it seemed.

Excited, let's rebuild a Mustang?
Looks like a great car to restore
thank you for your vids in 1983 I had a 1967 cougar and a 1965 fastback mustang love the cars of the 60s.
Bitter/sweet… I know the feeling and am at that place too. Thanks for the videos!
Hope we get to see a pic of the restored car. BTW why the tiny skeleton watching the car?
Cool
