My grandfather was shop foreman for Cummings diesel. He put a Cummings v6 into a 63 ford back in 1964. I remember it was a lot of fun to ride in. It would attract crowds everywhere. Even at gas stations the attendants would run out yelling at him saying you are putting diesel instead of gas. My grandfather wanted to start mass producing these but before he got started he died in jan. Of 71. My dad wore out a few trucks with that motor then gave it to my cousin. My cousin wants to put it in another truck but says the motor is from England and it's an oldie and very expensive to run and get parts for. I was told back then that it was the first diesel in a pickup west of Mississippi. What great memories.
What temp sending unit did you end up using? I had to use a bushing and the old fe390 sending unit to get it to work with the dash gauge. Thanks
There's a company that makes a trigger wheel and sener so that the tachometer will work
That thing sounds so smooth & cool! Wish my idi was that quiet.
How impressive is that!

"It's got more power" BULL-CRAP. Lol.
Cool swap none the less, I'd sooner have half the horsepower and get 30mpg 😛
Love that sound ❤️
Nice Truck 👍👍. What size tires is he running?
they seem narrow, some say narrow tires work well in mud and snow
