Binge-watched all the Crusty restoration videos recently…loved it all! Really enjoying following along with this double cab too! I have no skills or experience in this regard but am fascinated!
Hi. Its april 2020 and im watching this cool vid, since I am in need of fixing the rust on my 69 baywindow under the windshield. Anyone know of reliable place where I can find a good replacement metal piece to weld in? Thanks
damn I think you have more vice grips than me. I usually would weld in the section you vice gripped with hole punch plug welds then just lapped the bottom.
Cheers.
If there was only a vice grip hall of fame!😅
Good job. Need to do this on my ‘72 bay.
All the best.👍🏾🛠

You need to get yourself a cutting torch
I love doing metal work. Fixing to restore my old trailer my old enclosed trailer routed out. Just got the wood floor out of it this today.
Catching up on your older stuff. Like it.
Cut a section out of another bus that isn't rusty. LoL
You sure make me feel better about me doing mine. Thanks your smooth on teaching and master hands
