That is the exact same kind of mower I bought from my dad me and my nephew wired up a push start right now we are trying to get the rusty fused rear rims off so we can put a tube in the tire.

Hmm, here we are in March 2020, and we have a "Yardman" in a similar state, and with a lot of near identical features, but in ours, the engine spews oil from the crankcase gasket. We have in mind to build a light snowplough for it, for winter, and we already have a small trailer for carting stuff around the yard at any time of year.
If your mobility isn't too good, like mine, one of these little machines is a Godsend, and I can get right out to the local airfield without fear of running out of power (as in a mobility scooter) before I get back.
Last yearI saw a deal on a Gravley zero turn barn find they wanted 200 bucks hell if Id fixed it Im guessing its a 2-$3000 machine these people didnt know what they had
great video
Where did the gas filter go? Was there then it was gone.
Try "Blue Magic" QuikSteel Plastic Tank Repair. It's awesome!!!
Try "Liquid tape" for building up over chewed wires.

I thought I was pretty much experienced but I've learned so much more watching these videos, thanks for the education!
I used kite string on the grommet on gas tank. keys for switches should be laying all over the place.
