On the lathe to mill chuck adapter couldn't you just drill a hole thru it and a small indent on the chuck shaft then tap threads in the adapter for a allen headed keeper screw to lock it in and take care of the reverse problem ?
Boring……..I like watching you repair things, more than going to so many yard sales and moving some machine inch by inch the entire video. The last one I watched you were moving a small shed a neighbor gave you….over to your property. There was another video you hail in a giant lift. Do we need to see this stuff that drags on and on? I started watching you channel when I saw you repairing mowers, weed eaters chain saws. Sorry, but, you wanted honest feedback….this is mine.
I haven't seen a drift key. The wiring up was to me overkill, not necessary. Oh god you need to talk to a Machinist!!! You have to zero the head in anytime it's been moved, you have to zero it in. Take youur crank arm take it off and flip it so it doesn't catch your leg when you walk by.
Hey mustie1 look on eBay see if you can find one up there in your area I'm sure you can. Don't be a roll around cabinet for a computer for like a diesel truck shop or a dock workstation. That used to house the old monitors. I've got one of my shop I'm fixing to make a cutting, drilling, grinder Wheels, everything to cut or drill with cabinet out of. You can usually buy them for like three four hundred bucks. They are invaluable when it comes to organizing that kind of stuff. And you can roll it around it's got super heavy duty casters. They're about two thousand bucks new. But you can buy them for three or four hundred dollars all the time. I'm hoping to do a video on mine when I get it done or in the process. Cuz I'm actually going to attach a set of torches to the back of it and put a hose reel on it. And hang all my Grinders on the outside and inside of it.
