Nice job on the paint, and good choice on the satin black. It was worth painting – this is the driest this lil' double cab has been in many years, so the paint job & seam sealer was well worth the investment in time & materials. I believe you said that you had no intention in doing a full restoration in this truck, but compared to the butcher job the previous 'restorers' (ha!) did, you did very well.
Just wondering if you have any opinion on using 3m panel adhesive for floor panels. I've been hearing more and more of people using it lately. I believe that they still weld around the perimeter of the floor panels. Have you ever tried using it. It sounds good, but is it
It wasn't watching it dry, and another good video, especially since the double cab is looking like something rising from the ashes..of rust!
Great thing about using rust-oleum too is all their metal paints have a rust inhibitor mixed in the paint, so future rust shouldn't be as bad as it would be using other paint. And everyone knows that Satin paint makes them go at least 3mph faster 😉 And doesn't that look purty where she's painted.
