You"re always going to these neat shows. Makes me wonder if they have shows like that down here. 1,700 miles southwest makes for a lot of societal changes.

Cool show! When I moved to Germany in 1965 Amphicars were quite popular. I watched one drive right into the Rhine river south of Cologne and cross the river and climb out onto the bank on the other side. Sometimes you had to back onto the bank because only the rear wheels are powered. Your rig was a real hit, Darrin. Thanks for taking us along.

Mid-sixties for that Amphicar. Like all those amphibians a good hose down and flush out after salt water. It's the only usable amphi I remember that doesn't have a driven front axle so you needed to take a real run at the beach to get out again.
