Jack shaft is the worst design there is what I do is cut the jack shaft off mount the motor on top of sprocket works great no belt drive or jack it robs to much horsepower from engine if it has any at all take that motor plate in middle move it above sprocket weld it works great take that jack shaft and melt it then throw some holy water on it
that's how I do it I love to use what other people waste to make my life better I get a feeling of pride knowing that everything I have come from what others waisted not to be pushing religion but i think GODwould be pleased with that style of iveing bt if he is knot I would always think he should lol yes one should be proud to be that way yes i a poor but in other ways i am rich and so are you
I used a front torsion bar from an old Valiant for the rear axle on a home made buggy with a 360cc Honda motor bike engine…it took a bit of tweaking but worked well and never broke…Just a thought.
