Moe acts like every Great Pyrnees (and Samoyed) I've ever met – very friendly, and they love to nudge up close to you and lean a bit. I love these pups, and just about any member of the Spitz canine family… and retrievers, and Corgis, and German Sheperds…
My hat is off to you, and guys like you who have the knowledge and patience to do a job like that, and do it right. I like to think that I have a lot of patience myself, but I don't think I could stay calm enough to be able to piece together a new bit of frame, fitted to hold other critical members with it, and get it welded into place. And then turn around and work another spot right after that. Of course, my interests are saving things and making them last forever too, but I don't have the vast experience in fabbing things, not the machinery and tools for that work. I sit here in amazement of some of the jobs you take on. Sure, there are things I'm good at doing and well practised at, but fine metal "art" work isn't one of them. My question would be something like… Is there any aspect of the broad field of projects that you tackle that you absolutely hate to do, yet persevere and pull off regardless ? (Simplified, what job do you hate to do the most?)
I saw a sign atop a tall post – it read about 32 feet but I think a lot was lake effect snow. I had a friend in chicago. they had a chihuahua dog whose name was "bruiser" 🙂
