That thing sure is puurty sitting out in the sun like that, and agree, love that woodwork. They say Chris from Chris Craft in the early 1900's inspected every load of wood that came to the building, and that he was said to be able to spot anything less than topshelf from across the yard, leading to local wood suppliers to call their best wood, Chris Craft grade. Know that was before this boats time, as he passed in 1933 I believe, but it's a cool bit of trivia. Don't care for that trailer though, and my dad yrs. ago had one that would have been perfect for it, off a smaller wood boat that we scrapped, as it was all rotted out when we got it, but he was going to use the trailer for an aluminum one we had, but a friend of his gave him a fancy break one with a nice winch we used for our boat, so he sold the other one for $100 at the time.
That really must have been a well cared for set-up to run as good and look as good as it does! I know you did a TON of work on her, a ton, but she's still a great survivor story! A Beautiful beautiful rig, and runs good too!
The Johnson was running. The Chris Craft wasn't.
nice 2 c the steering wheel on the correct side like in aust
I love the woodwork too .. BRILLIANT !!!

Hi nice wooden boat I have a 1958 Chris Craft kit boat I restored. It came with a plastic windshield where can I locate a glass one like yours? Thanks

Love the old wooden boats, look soooo classy, really nice, imagine cruizing up the river on that
Looks like fresh gas and a good run is all that need's, sweet set up.
That's what I call a 2 cycle yard sprinkler!
