Give the guy back is $2 dollar bills we know you're going to make it mechanically sound and what is it a thousand bucks to make the body good so when all said and done you'll make somewhere in between six and eight thousand dollars
Quick question, if you made the mice leave I hope you did it way over at the neighbors house so they don't come back to yours. And I've found a real easy way to make those motors sound so much better, remove those damn tailpipes. All they do is make the thing sound like a sewing machine!!!!
Yes great ideas for quick trouble shooting the usual problems of any engine that sits for months.I am still trying to find that small bottle with the tube on ebay….or at local hw stores. But I'm always looking out for Farnicastaffs …..mainly USA made
Mustie, cool bug, I use the remote gas tank idea for troubleshooting, even used the remote gas tank and remote carb deal to check out atc engines, it is a way of removing variables when troouble shooting.
im plan to restore a 69 vw bug but I'm going to put the motor in the front of the car not in the back where it should be with that I have to junk the original frame and put a tube chassis in is place so I can put the motor in front because beetles wasn't made to have the engine in the front and plan to put a 427 with a blower and a turbo 400 trans so I can drive in on the streets and on the drag strip and I know I just destroy a classic car but I don't car is going to stay in the family
