It’s not alcohol in the gas it’s called ETHANOL and it’s literally refined corn syrup that absorbs moisture and causes carb problems. They use Alcohol in products like Dry Gas to absorb water.

Thank you so very much for explaining things that anyone can understand. I was kind of forced to retire because of Covid and my in-laws are elderly. I was the only person with them and my father in law wanted to throw things away because they didn’t work. So I would watch you each time I needed to figure out how to fix things. I have fixed several things and it would have cost us a fortune and I would not sale anything that didn’t work. I have never really worked with tools or power tools as I wasn’t allowed too or no one would take the time to explain things to me. Now what’s funny is I’m the handy woman around the house and my husband now asks me questions. I have never fixed vehicles though, maybe one day I’ll take a class but your much better of a teacher than I could achieve in any class. Thank you and keep up the good work 🙂

So, if I'm using premium grade gas with no ethanol, doesn't that take care of most of the alchohol problem, attracting water, etc?

Thank you Mustie! That was very informative and helpful . I was an undercar tech for thirty-plus years of my life and sometimes you have to "break down" big components into individual parts to find the problem. You and your videos are to me are like learning from a master! Like all your stuff…Thank you sir!

Despite all the engines that I have worked on I have never had the pleasure to find one where you can adjust the jet. I've been messing around with engines since the early '80s. It's never been professional it has just been something I do on the side. Now that I'm retired I'm looking to do more than just friends family and neighbors. Every summer someone will bring me a broken lawn mower or weed wacker. For the most part as long as I do not need to buy parts I don't charge anyone. Like I said it's more like a hobby and keeps me busy. I set my garage up to be very comfortable when I'm over there. I have a large screen television surround sound and even a bathroom in my garage.

I enjoy watching videos like this. There's always something new to learn. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I always appreciate someone sharing their experience.
