Strange whine could be heard in the cab during the test drive. Rear end, or is that the alternator?

I just want to thank you for taking time to make these videos. I have learned so much from watching your content. I’ve had about 30 or so old Honda’s and Yamahas and Suzuki’s from the 60s to the 90s. I used to love the challenge of getting them running. Your videos are informative and most importantly, FUNNY! It would be awesome if you could start an online program or something to share your knowledge in depth. I watch your videos with my 12 year old son, hoping he picks up on some basic knowledge. I got him a 2011 Suzuki jr 50. And I kind of let him do work on it. He learned A LOT from your videos. So thank you so much for your time and for sharing your knowledge. Good luck with the new shop buddy!

Dont know where this guy is from, but i can tell you this.. you wont walk out of any trans repair shop in NY or NJ without being told – you need a transmission. Its the single most part of vehicle where people accept “nothing can be repaired”, and it needs to be replaced..

I had a shop rebuild the one on my maxima when i was a kid. $1800 and 35,000 miles later (just out of warranty) i was back being told it needed another rebuild.. the owner actually had the balls to tell me “well its a rebuild – youre lucky it lasted that long”.. i said funny, i dont remember that being part of your sales pitch the first time.. tack on another $2,200 cause its cheaper than another car.. .. being a kid making what i did back then – it took me YEARS to pay all that off.. lesson learned..

You should warn the guy that you bought the truck from and warn him about the tranny repair place he dealt with lying to him. This is of course a little late to be saying, LOL. Love your videos.

I don't care what make/model/style/type of vehicle people hate, $300 IS ONLY $300 for a running and driving car/truck! Hell, even if you didn't do a single thing to it and only ran for several thousand miles after the initial $200 purchase, it would still be worth it!
Man, you were a lucky son of a bitch!
