Have you ever thought about popping a valve stem in a fuel tank and remove the stem for the fuel to flow through then just slip fuel line over the end?
My mother was so happy to get her outdoor Maytag. Before we washed by hand on a board or lugged it all to a laundromat 15 miles away. The motor always worked just watch out for the wringer.
I knew the latch would be wacky. The alarm ecu might be behind the gauge cluster(Port installed alarm`s had the alarm ecu under the left seat right seat or behind the cluster)..We had one in the shop several week`s ago and the ecu was faulty causing the same issue as your`s.All my year`s at toyota payed off….
That Maytag can is awesome! Amazing how some of these thngs have survived.
Glad the alarm got addressed. My 99 camaro has a gadget up in the rear wheel well that will cause the alarm to go off random. No street parking.
That is insane I never knew how they attached the belts. I never seen one up close. Thanks for sharing mustie1.
Where do you get the seam sealer and which brand would you buy? Is there a specific brand that you like?
That is called is Lacing as in lacing your shoes that is what you call it when you put a belt together!

The belt end kit is neat. I could use something like that for conveyors.
Wow Mustie! your a junkyard mad scientist! LOL!
Was it the hood latch pin in the end that was the issue? What did you do in the end?
Wow cool find on those belts.
