My dad and I built a Dodge van into a camper in the mid to late 1970's, and he used expanding foam insulation. All the cavities were filled almost flush with the inside sheet metal. Served to make the vehicle alot quieter and less prone to noises from vibrations.
Big puzzle my ass! That's a bear of a stinky job… putting it back together is going to be a less mouse pissy task but its still gonna want to fight you to go back together right… well, maybe not… did they farm out the Wesfalia interiors or is that German made?
