Dude! That Green REO engine is the first engine I ever owned, that exact model! It indeed was on a reel mower, I worked all day in these people's yard at age 12 with a deal to take home that mower. I brought it home, cleaned it up minimally and it ran like a top. I then tore it down and built my first go cart frame (all wood lol). The gear reduction served me very well on my 1WD wheel barrow wheels. I had it mated to an old gear shift from a 5 speed Riding mower and that goofy looking completely home built go cart was the most fun next to the bikes I had with weed whacker and chainsaw engines. I couldn't believe it when you showed the close up shots of that engine! Thanks again Mustie!
Mustie, I use a handful of moth balls twice a year or so to keep mice out of parked vehicles. It also seems to override other odors and its odor fades quickly when you remove them. Have you thought about doing a flat belt drive front kicker bike?? You could even make a two engine two wheel drive if you got bored or curious, maybe a double kicker, one engine behind the seat. It would have a high center of gravity, but kicker bikes kinda do anyway.. Just a thought. Love your site, am thinking of doing something similar. I have similar interests and background, with a more electronics base. Some of your bikes have steampunk features, I like 'em. Michael
That satellite looks killer. Can't wait to hear the story. I think you have enough combustion engines on site to power a small army and maybe a small navy too.
" I go to yard sales and I cant help myself " Mustie1 So many of your quotes should be on a t-shirt…..
Great job mustie1. Looks awesome.
