That's awesome mustie1. To see something go from not far from the graveyard to about ready to travel down the road with less than what it seems like about a day's worth of work.
You are so loving this. You still have it, don't you. 2018. That thing is immaculate. (Other than the previous tenants, not to suggest you are going to live in this thing. Oh, right. The "Thing" was something else. Sorry. 😉 Oh, Mustie. Hi Brian!! You guys are great.
replacement top tent @ GoWesty Brake light is also on when parking brake lever is up! Brake fluid reservoir inside instrument panel, pop off cover to get at!
good vehicle the westy..major letdown is what resides in the rear..wasserboxer is absolute garbage of an engine. an attempt at converying the aircooled to watercooling..epic fail
You probably already found it, but the brake fluid reservoir is inside the gauge cluster. You need to pull off the hood piece to access it. Also, are you sure it wasn't your parking brake causing the light? Awesome score on this Vanagon, by the way.
Westfalia's were the best quality conversions of T25's..
