bet your glad to have her on the road, this one is a friends bus not mine, but l have a 67 thats almost done, theres a bus show comming up at lars anderson museum in oct, its a great show, its in brookline mass check it out,
Nice looking bus. I have a 71, same color – Niagara Blue…the CV joints were dated June 1971. My bus was last on the road in 1999…so all new brakes for me…tires, shocks…cv joints…engine had 25 psi so I put in a rebuilt one…now it's on the road…Just yesterday,
I got the head lights working – had hi beams, but just 1 low..no flashers, turn signals, needs a stereo…Maybe I will meet you in Boston and we have a Sam Adams over and talk buses…
I think I did , but if its leaking out the back, it needs a rebuild, hit the hardware with a penatrent long before you want to takes it apart, if its power brakes,as this one, clean out all the fluid in the booster or it will rot the rubber on the inside,,
Hey did you end up replacing the master cylinder? I seem to be leaking fluid from mine at the moment. 71 Bus also, very similar to this one.
