this is a gun battery, battery 103 known as battery seaman. it housed two 16 inch guns, which where only test fired… the percussion from the test firing broke windows in portsmouth
I went there today for about 2hrs.! The rooms freak you out!!! I had to sit in silence in one of those jail cell rooms with my flashlight off for about 20min because there was a field trip of about 50-100 kids passing by the hole and i didn't want to freak them out by making a noise , but hiding in a cold , breezy , creepy old bunker room in the dark and hearing 50 kids voices echoing the walls around you was enough for me for the day…. I can't wait to go again!!!!
You say that as if homeless people dedicate their lives to attacking people who come too close. Most homeless people are perfectly pleasant, so long as it's clear that you're not a cop trying to kick them out of their home.
i was just there like an hour ago. we went all the way in and downstairs. there is crazy stuff in there like some satanic sacrafice kinda stuff. we got all the way to end of long hallway and we heard a loud bang noise so we all turned around and booked it back to the entrance hole. this was at around 9 at night so just walking threw odiorne was scary. man that was crazy.
From the internet… Battery 204, a reinforced concrete structure, covered with earth, built during WWII was one of several coastal defense installations built to protect Portsmouth Harbor and the naval shipyard. The structure was a typical World War II intermediate range harbor defense battery. Its fire power consisted of two six-inch guns placed 210 feet apart that had a range of 15 miles.
Fort Taber, Mass..has an identical shore battery, if you had managed to find your way up to the fire control center you would have been looking out on the sea. I believe the tunnel was used not only for barracks but also to shuttle ammo from one side to the other. Seems to me the spikes were for communications cables, but that was a LOooong time ago so that could be completely wrong. The shore battery at Fort Taber used to look a lot like this one but now it's it in a thicket of trees!
A video of black n green….. WTF. is that the best you can do?

Man, the taggers went deep into the belly of that too. Maybe you should have taken some spray paint! Cool field trip. Thanks.
