I have an idea that should work in theory and it's fairly simple. I'm sure you have heard shaved of heads for reducing the size of the combustion area, in turn, producing bigger explosion to increase power but instead of shaving the heads down what if you just added a little filler inside the head with some weld?
Place the weld aka filler in key areas of the chamber as not to interfere with any valves or the top of the piston, also you could smooth the filler down and help guide the explosion. This is just an idea that made be fun to entertain yourself if you just want to try it. I suggest trying it only on a single head engine.
