Hey @Mustie1 I have the same motor that i'm restoring, well actually its a 1949 Eaton's Viking but I believe it is identical. I need the same rubber water pump piece. Would you be willing to share your contact that made it for you or sell me your spare?
I recall we used a 30s poppet valve evinrude on a pontoon boat until the late 60s with only an occasional fire. Seems like they never die. We also used a Martin, a Scott-Atwater, and I think, a Firestone. Dad was a mechanic.

Just watched this , 5 years after you posted it, that little motor fairly ripped, well done. I loved the vibrations in the camera 😂

Very cool subscriber
That is awesome … ❤️
If you still have this motor, mounting it to the beaver might be cool. It would take some engineering but it would be a cool project.
How do I get in touch with the water pump supplier. I have a gale outboard that has a bad wobble pump.
Next video, water skiing!
Naaaaaaaa……me estás jodiendo…!! No tiene marcha atrás y se gira todo el motor..!!!
Que bueno man…!!!
Me encantan esos motores..!!
