picked up this machine about a month ago and it had a blown engine. when l looked into replacing the factory setup I found it to be too expensive so I made my own drive train. in this video we finish hooking it up and take it out for a test drive toward the end of the video.I had a blast . still have more work to get it ready for the water but we are well on our way now. the playlist for the build of this machine is right here, https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZJS6Md1UOg2EttBgPK8W_eO9pxkdDnK1
What a frankenmonster this has become like all of your creations. Love to see you restore something.

overkill on the exhaust / top engine bracket. didnt need the gussets in my humble opinion.

Taryldactle sent us, I want to see the beaver.
I would totally crash that.. the go button and the turning would definitely mess me up haha๐คฆ
Hey Mustie, I know this is an older video, but Iโm binging the channel now… So, the bracket for the throttle spring came from lady overs from the police cushman gate hinges, didnโt it?
The cork gasket cutting was very clever – nice
LOL. takes off at a hundred in the back yard, laughing like a little kid. awesome .
I would get rid of the "kill switch" and hook the kill wire to the 'start' position for the reverse on the original switch. Then you don't have to remember which way to flip the switch. It will always start when you turn the key to the right, and die when you turn it to the far left.๐
You would have to use a solenoid , so when you turn the key to the left, it would ground the kill wire.
Lily the lab, typical of the breed; friendly, gentle and loves the water . Great dog.
Is that a Custom 880 Convertible? I had one near Sea-Tac, WA that I sold. Had a 440 Six Pac. Beautiful car.
Never seen the cable oiler, I am now buying one!
