after finding the factory engine was so damaged I went with what I think will be a good choice but its not going to be easy, as the gear box will need custom installation, but that will be on the next video.

You basically have the same setup as a/my microcar, engine – CVT – gearbox with forward-neutral-reverse 😛
An amphibious microcar sounds fun tbh.
I worked with a guy who transferred physical parts to a cad drawing… it's really simple, once you start playing around… from that you can import the cad file to a cam/cnc…and voila, you got a part! Even if yir off a bunch, you can make adjustments and push the button again. If you could get proficient at it….I think the world would become unglued!

I have that torque convertor & reverse gearbox set up on a 212 mounted on a chinese made 4-wheeler…done it myslf.

The shaft has a mushroom on the end of it.

finally found time to watch this project from start to finish. I would have preferred something more of the era as far as engine choice went, but I can see why you went that route.
I wouldn't say you overuse "guy." But for variety you could mix in "fellow" or "dude" or "swinging dick."
If you do have an electric fan to vent the gas fumes you had better have a brush-less motor you don't want the hand grenade effect.
Start it and let it run to polish the output shaft with the emery cloth !!!

If you still have it ,,, let’s get a prop and a rudder on that old pig and make it a winner,,, if it’s still in the family!!! Engineering that baby on video to make it a winner would be fun for US!!!
