Kidney stones might be tiny but they make BIG pain. Well done on the diagnosis of your wheel situation. Sometimes just being sure that everything is cleaned, installed correctly, tightened and adjusted to spec is all that’s needed. Thanks for posting!
Some good machine shops have chuck to hold one end and a center in he other, as it spins slowly a very small torch cycles back and forth while spraying a carbon on it. After it cools it goes on a fixture between centers and is dial indicated and light pressure comes in contact an it gently presses on it to true it up. Then it is ground to spec., I've only seen one for a short time as i never ran it. FMC corp.ased division used it. Now it's its fmc snap-on. It got the job done on brake lathes.
Hey mustie1 I know your busy with your new shop and all the new videos. But I wonder if you could answer me a question where did you get your paint can rack? Did you make that or is it one you got out of the store? Cuz I love that thing that is way cool wish I had one of those in my shop.
My '68 Beetle showed a little shimmy this weekend in the front passenger wheel, so I'll be taking it apart and hoping for a simple solution (probably a wheel bearing). Thanks for the tips and showing us how to keep these babies going.
Instead you start showing us your chain oil undercoating bait and switch lol
But I don't like the bait and switch you didn't try to wobble the wheel again and show us the wobble was gone out of the wheel

I had kidney stones many times since I was 21. They suck. Hopefully you haven't had anymore!

You ever notice how it’s rarely the easy fix when it’s on your own stuff? 😂 great video as always
