A little late for a response to this! I have 2 cub cadets like that but they are 36 volt electric!One drive motor and one motor for each of the 2 blades.The 3,12 volt batteries go where the motor is on yours'.With built in chargers!
I just finished a trans rebuild on a Model 87, from buying a Foote trans off ebay. The seller has a pile of them, NOS. Now my 87 runs and cuts like new.

Model 85 lawn bug those are nice cutting machines the lawn bug model. Someday I’d love to find a model 60 lawn bug
My green house did that, I put about 20 oneach panel and havent lost one since. Not bad for ne Scotland!

I pickup up one of these Cadets a few years back and haven't got rid of it yet because it just looks so neat.
these are made by international? are they still made by them?

Great job on the fountain, Cadet looks like it would be fun to ride. Don't use any matches around the lighter fluid!
