time to make the engine in this old cushman truckster run better, and so we get into adjusting the valves, set the points and timing, and see what it has for compression. after that just a little bit of welding,

When I was a kid I remember these cushman police scooters in downtown Cleveland Ohio when we would visit the city. In Lakewood Ohio which was just west of Cleveland, they had very wealthy people that lived along the lake and the way they would pick up garbage at their homes the garbage company would park their truck down the road and they would have the three wheel cushman scooters with high sided dump bodies on them and would go house to house picking up garbage and when the scooter was full in would drive down the road to the big truck back up and dump the load in the back of the big truck. They would have like 3-4 scooters running around the neighborhood picking up garbage, it was really cool.
At the Distributor metal base's SIDE, does it have a place in insert an allen wrench to adjust those points using a dwell meter? We enjoyed these Cushman Meter Maid videos. Thanks!

You may have heard this before but if you have a gas tank full of crud a good way to clean it out is : Take handful of pebbles and put it in the tank and shake it around to loosen crud then pour them out with crud . It works very well
