I enjoyed your estate sale DR mower fix up a few days ago. Learning lots! So I was excited to spot this one in my Recommended … because I have one of these that I want to resurrect and use! It's an LGT 165 that's been sitting for probably 15 years under a tarp.
I had the same problem on a ford tractor carburetor. My fix was to bend a small peace of copper pipe to go in the inlet ole to to bottom of the bowel. it worked great. I was thinking at the time it had something like that to begin with but was lost when someone was cleaning it. but I don't know for sure.
Just wondering if you could’ve drilled a lower port for the fuel? Maybe drive a pin into the original?
It' main problem is that the manufacturer is Ford

I know this was 6 years ago but you should do a short video on how to change the oil in your air compressor.
is there any reason one could not drill the factory hole bigger and use a short carefully bent piece small tubing yo go down lower in the bowl

Awesome engineer. Makes me feel like I can fix any mower
Can't believe l am commenting on a 6 year-old Mustie vid .
But. . l liked the suggestion —, a Mustie1 Autograph on every fix!!!!
It would be so much easier with the help of a good apprentice
Awesome
You are the engine whispered.
It's a Ford you can't expect much
FORD = Found Off Road Dead
Like tuning a fine instrument and finding out it’s a fake Lol 😂
