I picked up this 1986 olds cutlass supreme Brougham. that had been sitting for 5 years after the owner did not want to fix what it needed, bad oil leak and a rotted frame. well I own it now so lets fix it together. vwnut1967 fixing the paint is here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glEadD8CKR8&t=29s

    i used used motor oil and ligtht weight under coating that does not harden up together in same gun

    For future reference, bleach breaks down into salt water pretty quickly. It's probably not a great cleaner for vehicles.

    Fixed about a dozen of these in a row starting with mother in laws ‘86 Monte Carlo. Found a guy locally who made complete new rails . Also he made pieces for the trunk in case a body mount bolt broke. Quick and easy , pull bolts , remove frame rail just behind shock plate .

    Very nice work, the paint restoration was fantastic and the frame repair is fantastic to.
    I had a 1984 4 door Cutlass Supreme with the 3.8 liter motor.
    Loved that car. My frame rusted out worse than yours. Very cool to see how you fixed it. 👍
