True mechanic use your coffee cup to check fuel volume ๐
My dad actually owns one of these
just beginning to troubleshoot a 318 surging Onan. removed the intake and resealed it. issue unresolved. new carb on its way. will go thru the entire fuel system next and install the new carb. wish me luck. hoping it isnt the spider gear.
I'm getting ready to change the deck belt on my 332. It's a beast. My wides grandpa bought it new in the late 80's and it has been mowing the same 1.5 acres for 35 years. Those old Yanmar Diesels are bullet proof.
Once again you hit a goldmine! Crap I would have gave my left nut ๐ฅ to come into one of these.
Heโs a โDapper Danโ man.
Surprised my guy didnโt hit it with a pressure washer before
I had the same problem with my 318 blowing the fuse. Turned out to be the PTO.
Enjoyed watching you work on the 318. May help me in the future because i do all my own work. Purchased my 318 new in 1986 and it has 2287 hours on it and uses very little oil. Got hard to start a couple years ago and I couldn't find an NOL pump so I put an electric pump on it and it starts like when it was brand new. Use it mainly for plowing snow and pulling wagons that are too heavy for the JD 345 now. This is one machine I will never get rid of.
My Craftsman Turn Tight series Tractor has a Kohler 7000 series 22 horsepower 725cc V Twin engine..dry weight is 630 pounds..never would I switch to John deere..
I wish people would throw 318โs at meโฆ..๐
