Hi, in this video we to start putting this 1987 john deere back together after doing valve repair on the engine, l want to use it for plowing snow this winter and purchased a power angle blade for it. lets see if we can get it installed and operational, or as close as we can anyways.
Put a straight coupler and maybe a shorter hydric house, should fix the problem !!!.

I would have addressed the charging issue while the engine was out, you may have to go under the flywheel.

What would it be like if you reversed the cylinder so it was mounted to the plow and the stroke was at the tractor? …. That would move the lines away from the tractor.

It's taken me a few videos as a tinkerer tends to scheme and plot while engaging all the cogs, even after youtubing has commenced, but I've come to realize why your mannerisms of engagement with your audience works so well. We are the dog in this scenario. You speak to us, ask for comment and consideration, we get to go on adventures with you, and it drives the same level of excitement as one might imagine 'man's best friend' would experience.

Late to the party on this series, but I'm loving it. My brother bought and started a landscape company when he was 16 with one of these, then eventually a 332, the 3 cylinder yanmar diesel version. He had the same plow, dug a foundation for a small barn with it on my family's property, going back and forth scraping the dirt out. The best built "garden tractor" ever in my opinion. Way over engineered yet simple. Thanks for the videos!
