l picked up this machine but it needed too much to fix it, so it was going to be stripped for parts. why not see how it does with no oil and full throttle.

When you listen to this engine in the RPM no wonder why it blew up.

My friend takes us riding lawn mower to the shop to do the first oil change Beck's it off the trailer just to get the oil changed guess what the guys drain oil put the new oil filter on but I've seen this happen many times somebody forgot to put the oil in and trip check the dipstick after they started it up so they drove it out to park it remember there's no oil in the engine it seized the rod and broke it they didn't call him for a few days so it comes down to pick it up they tell him engines no good didn't even have the balls to say we forgot to put oil in it we need to get you a new motor.

Oil seeping out of a crack in the block: "that could be an issue" LOL

Another thing you need to think about when over speeding those grinding wheels. Is they are designed to run up to a maximum RPM. anything more than that could cause them to disintegrate and throw jagged fragments of the wheel all over the room. Very dangerous!!!

As a kid cutting yards a neighbor gave me a lawnmower it wouldn't stop backfiring so I took of the blade wired the throttle wide open. I Put 40% nitro model airplane fuel in it, at about 10,000 rpm it through the piston through the head 🤷

My go cart has a Briggs that threw a rod. I worked a pump and was very new. We got a short block 5hp and rebuilt the engine . I am sure it needs a carb cleaning and I know I bought a throttle cable which needed replacing. I have a brand new makita generator in my garage/ new 12 years ago, Christmas gift to dad and box never opened.

Well that was entertaining ! No one wants to see an engine throw a rod or blow in any way and you have just treated us to the show of what happens when you run your engine without oil, I looked that generator up and it’s in lowes catalog but no longer available, I guess now you just use it for parts or perhaps a vid on taking the engine apart. Was entertaining !

I'd say you got just as much labor and time involved trying to blow this thing up then if you were to just tear it apart and fix it! Lol

I did that once to an old Plymouth station wagon, that damn thing ran full throttle for almost 3 1/2 hours before throwing a couple rods out the sides of the block
